it’s no secret…i love little boys.  and brothers, well they absolutely melt my heart.  mister N and brother L notwithstanding!  i’m going to make up for my lack of blogging…it’s HARD to keep up during the holidays…so here’s a nice big sampling of these adorable little guys.  i have more than a dozen other families to post…so fingers crossed i can catch up by new years!  🙂

 

my all time favorite picture from the session:

who would have thought that an orange shirt could just bring out the bluest of blue in these eyes?!?  i think he’s the most gorgeous cowboy i’ve ever seen!

well, make that a tie….this little cowboy is right up there with the looks…..

in case you have just joined my blog, let me fill you in on a not so secret secret:  i adore brown eyes.  they are my weakness.  and miss N’s  big brown eyes just make my heart swell!  and the cheeks…’just like butta!’

mom planned the wardrobes SOOO well…it was a veritable fashion show.

sometimes you just get lucky.   like being at the right place…at the right time…with the right people…on the most magnificent morning of all time!  last friday morning, around 6:22 (i know the exact minute because i was 7 minutes late) the heavens opened up.  seriously, there was lightening, CRAZY thunder, and a downpour of rain. add in two of the most beautiful little girls ever.  frolicking on the beach together.  finding a feisty old crab and a gazillion sand dollars.  it was pure magic.  and on top of all that, i happened to bring my camera.  like i said, sometimes you just get lucky!

.a beach-y vacation.

…no, not a vacation for me…but for these little darlings!  this summer i’ve had quite a few families ask me to capture their families while vacationing on the central coast.  okay, twist my arm!!!  it’s not such a bad job, eh?  

my first glimpse of little R and miss D was picturesque!  they were walking ‘ollie’ (the softest little puppy i’ve ever met) and easily strode up to a beach-goer & began quite the little conversation!  what poise!  what personality!  i knew in an instant that i would be in heaven!  

miss D is about the sweetest, playful girl ever!  she worked cartwheels, spins, circles, leaps and just about every other move under the sun….and energy was still flowing!  she’s friends with pretty much everyone at her school.  of course.  and mister R–he masterminded and entire citadel & castle fortress in between takes.  of course, he melted my heart when he declared his love for me…what a little love!  i have to say, too, that mister R is about the fastest runner i’ve seen in these parts.  see below for proof…
