as a child, i never went anywhere without holding my big brother’s hand. Mark is just 13 months older than me and we roamed the hills and dales of our little sleepy town like a set of twins. i still adore my big brother…and my little brother, Cory, too!
so when i found this image from a recent session–the first shot i took–my heart did a flip-flop! it’s like a page out of my own story.
a new version of american gothic…kiddie style!
i met little miss E last july when we did her 6 month pictures. she was bright eyed and…well, not so much hair. but now, her little strawberry blond hair fits quite nicely into her sweet little ponytail! is that not to die for?!
i always love little sequences…my blog is not wide enough to put these side by side, so just scroll down and imagine this x3. hat on, hat off, hat on, hat off….heeheehee!
it’s funny how boys just light up when they’re ‘man-handled’ by their daddy! (big brother and daddy)

i’m not going to lie to you–my job is REALLY fun! (most of the time) 🙂 and i have to say, i learn SO much from my little friends. about all things princess, about ‘finger-berries’, some really crazy science facts, how to walk like a ballerina… and occasionally i meet a little friend who reveals a new level of originality….and i just fall in love!

not too long ago i posted about this little man…he was in the hospital with some digestive issues. today he is doing so much better! and man has he grown! i was so honored to meet little ‘M’ right after he came home from the hospital. he was so calm & sweet during our newborn session…and at 3 months he’s become the ultimate charmer! those eyes! that hair! oh my gosh, he melts my heart…
i love the color of this image, but equally love it in black and white. for once, it’s a complete tie for me!

i’m not going to lie to you…pink really is my all time favorite color! it stands for all things sweet and girlie. bubble gum lipgloss, hair bows, tutus, strawberry ice cream….and pink converse! (look close and you’ll see them….) i’m pretty sure that little Miss A will truly be a girlie girl, despite the GeoTrax and Legos that surround her. 🙂 ever sleepy, this tiny smiley babe barely made a peep while mommy and i played with all sorts of fun wraps and hats. oh, and her gorgeous bedroom….it would make even molly ringwald jealous!
