.brothers. lisa maksoudian — child photographer

i thought i’d seen the most beautiful brothers in the world…until now!  i’m over the moon for these little guys!  mister I is quite the alphabet king…”a is for ‘ambitious’…d is for ‘determination’….z is for ‘zealous'”.  his vocabulary puts me to shame!  and oh, what great manners he has.  

baby D…well he’s just a bundle of pure love.  apparently we’re still waiting on teeth…i *puffy heart* those gummy smiles…and luscious lips…and amazing eyes!   thanks for letting me play with you, little brothers.

.a beach-y vacation.

…no, not a vacation for me…but for these little darlings!  this summer i’ve had quite a few families ask me to capture their families while vacationing on the central coast.  okay, twist my arm!!!  it’s not such a bad job, eh?  

my first glimpse of little R and miss D was picturesque!  they were walking ‘ollie’ (the softest little puppy i’ve ever met) and easily strode up to a beach-goer & began quite the little conversation!  what poise!  what personality!  i knew in an instant that i would be in heaven!  

miss D is about the sweetest, playful girl ever!  she worked cartwheels, spins, circles, leaps and just about every other move under the sun….and energy was still flowing!  she’s friends with pretty much everyone at her school.  of course.  and mister R–he masterminded and entire citadel & castle fortress in between takes.  of course, he melted my heart when he declared his love for me…what a little love!  i have to say, too, that mister R is about the fastest runner i’ve seen in these parts.  see below for proof…

.malibu wedding.

okay…i finally have a blog post put together for this FABULOUS malibu wedding!  rita was such a gorgeous bride & ron a GQ fashion statement with the coolest shoes EVER!   and the venue, well it was magical:  the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Malibu canyon.  seriously, if you’re ever in southern cal, you’ve got to check this place out for a romantic dinner…you might even catch a fox or two frolicking near the stream below!  shot with my darling Jen, we had a blast hanging out with R&R and capturing their playful personalities…and all the amazing details of their wedding.  take a peak:

.the prettiest baby album.

….EVER!  is this not the sweetest thing ever!?!  it’s sooo much fun to create custom albums that are oh so cool and timeless.  this particular album was custom designed for a client (who i adore!).  we kept it classic and simple…with several panorama spreads and storyboards included.  the images are the pages…often called a ‘coffee table book’…and it’s covered with the richest platinum colored japanese silk.  the box is amazing in itself with a magnetic clasp.  it’s definitely an oooo and ahhhh piece.  and i had fun in the 5 minutes it was in the studio photographing it’s details!

.sweet baby K.

there’s just something magic about newborns…they’re so tiny and yet so complete!  the littlest sighs and stretches literally send chills up my spine.  little baby K, in all her dainty ways, completely mesmerized me…more than once i just watched in awe as she slept…almost forgetting to take the picture!   🙂  did i mention that i love babies?!?
