When I look back over the past year, I have can’t help but smile…especially at sweet little faces like this! Cliche as it may sound, I am so honored to photograph such amazing children year after year. To record the little personalities as they unfold. To capture their relationships as they grow. I’m so very thankful that I can witness and record the true beauty that is family.

Hello December! When did you arrive? I could swear that I blinked way back on Halloween…and now it’s nearly Christmas. As much as I would LOVE to see a white Christmas, I’m truly thankful for the green hills that are growing more lovely every day. Yes, I *love* green. And I love these little munchkins. Is there a better combo than lush green colors and sweet smiling faces? I think not!

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring…except for this little guy, who apparently requires very little sleep. :) This picture paints a very different story, however. So cozy and curly and perfectly serene, don’t you think?
